KJ seems rather surprised that Keita has turned down the deal, but who knows what has gone on behind the scenes.

Probably just something as simple as he feels he should be in the 1st team and KJ doesn't think he is ready.

Impressive, he seems to be doing well considering I'm pretty sure he is still an u16! Like Wilson playing in the u21s, we seem to be looking to challenge those who are doing well at their own level

Squad to play Brighton at Telford this evening:

SQUAD: McCarey, Flatt, Simpson, O'Hanlon, Upton, Ebanks-Landell, Swan, Weeks, Kellermann, Evans, Harris, Torras, Ortega, Wilson, Reid, Graham, Hunte, Bancessi.

Good to see Matt Murray having an input.

Insignificant if they're developing as players but yeah, must be disheartening.

Seems like every game is close and we compete pretty well but can't get the wins. Lots of new faces in there this season though and still being added to all the time so they may do better next season with results

That's true, by nature there's much more turnover in youth teams. Not something I'd really considered before but surely does impact the overall performances of the team.

It doesn't bother me at all. Results at that level are largely irrelevant. Middlesbrough are top are they not? And yet choose to stack their first team with Chelsea loanees.

Definitely results aren't the priority but "culture of winning" and all that.

If losing breeds losing at the top isn't the same true for the youth players?

Sellars linked with the Oldham job, amongst many names in an article I saw

Hope we keep him but hard to fault him if he gets offered the job and takes it.

Niall Ennis selected for the England U16 Squad for the Montaigu Tournament in France at the end of the Month

Bradley Reid gone on loan to telford.
Would've thought he could have gone a level or 2 higher tbh.

Not from what I've seen of him. I'll be surprised if he makes much of a Football League career. Well below where Winnall/McAlinden were at the same stage.
