Wolves Academy Thread

Personally i am pretty impressed with the youth development at Wolves, jeez we seem to have got something right!

Iorfa has looked class when I've seen him. Debating whether ball playing centre half is his best future position, or whether he has the flexibility to play in midfield.

Keep him well away from midfield. Neil Emblen should have been a classy ball playing centre half, we wrecked him by lamping him in the middle of the park.

I think he's best where he is. I reckon he'll be too lightweight for centre back.

I still think right back will end up being his best position.

You don't have to be a massive unit to play at centre half anyway, look at John O'Shea, even someone like Rio Ferdinand was never particularly big.

I wouldn't fancy getting in a scrap with cannavaro though.

But you would with Rio or even Roger Johnson?

We have a long history and tradition of youth football and development, thanks to former player Mark Crook and 'feeder club' Wath Wanderers.

v Albion
Flatt, Matinyadze, O'Hanlon, Weeks, Upton, Carter, Bancessi, Kellermann, Keita, Torras, Hunte.
Subs: Burgoyne, Rainey, Wilson, Reid, Ortega

Boukari being saved for the Brum Cup then

Never heard of Upton or Carter before, I take it they're the centre backs?

Carter is centre back, played there quite regularly for u21s this season I think. Regan Upton we signed from Burton year or so ago, centre back or centre mid think he's still a second year for u18s.

Sounds like we've had plenty of chances but still 0-0. Keita, hunte and bancessi mentioned a lot.

As for earlier discussion is say iorfa looks a natural right back, no need for him to move inside or into midfield
