Wolves Academy Thread

Highly unlikely isn't it though. More than likely will go out on loan

I wouldn't say it's highly unlikely he'll still be around, I doubt there are loan offers flying in left right and centre for a lad who's essentially done fuck all for two and a half years following a couple of nothing performances in the Premier League.

Hasn't Jackett said clubs have been in touch about taking Forde out on loan?

Would seem strange for people to suddenly be interested now when he sat around doing nothing for a season with no takers.

So players that haven't been in a team for a while never get a new club? Not really strange is it. He was on the edge of the sqaud when KJ first came in and it was only as the season progressed he slipped out of the 18-20 players. Clearly we have had some interest, or else we wouldn't say so.

I think he is in the last year of his contract, so unless Scott Sellars is a miracle worker, I would say Forde will go out on loan to League 1 or 2 and never play for us again.

Of course players find clubs again but if people weren't interested in him throughout last season, when he'd actually played a few games, why would there suddenly be interest now? What's he done to attract this new interest?

We saw it plenty of times with the deadwood Mick built up and dragged along, some would bounce from loan to loan whilst others sat doing fuck all for a couple of years, each just running down the days of their Wolves contract. Forde looks much more likely to be in the latter category considering he's already had 18 months of it.

He won't play for us again. It's make or break for Zeli and he is behind him (plus all the first teamers. He couldn't make an impression at L1 so isn't going to start turning up trees at a higher level.

Nashter - #Wolves also handed a trial to Drogheda United keeper Declan Connolly,17, in training today but won't be pursuing it at the moment.
The trial came after he impressed in Drogheda's 1-0 win over @MKDonsFC on Tuesday night, saving a penalty.

Ignore the fact that he would have gone out on loan in January had he not got injured.

A Wolves XI is currently taking on Nike Academy. Presumably we're fielding a number of trialists for the U21 age group.

Not something he has done, but finance of other clubs will play a big part, might have been at the limits of their budgets last year, teams that have him on there scouting lists, or a list of players they think they could potentially attract or recruit if they are further down the league etc. Not sure what his involvement last year with the reserves was, but a lot of reserve games are filmed and logged by even the smaller clubs so there will be a lot more footage, data, and general tracking of players you wouldn't expect that level of data on.

Personally I am with you though on the point of view I can't really see him ever achieving anything with us now. Am I right in remembering him scoring in the prem?

No, he's never scored for us.

This game finished 2-1 to Wolves. Razak Boukari and a trialist with the goals.

Something or nothing that Boukari is involved when Doumbia and Margreitter are not?
