Wolves 3-1 Burton - Verdict Thread

This exactly.

Could, say, Kevin McDonald make this pass? Probably. Would he ever have the speed of thought to make it happen in open play? Not in a million years, for my money.

Ruben just makes everything look instinctive and easy.

No Kevin couldn't have done that - he was fine for where we were

We aren't there now

What were everyone's thoughts on the drum?

Personally I thought it was used sparingly but was useful when the crowd quietened a bit. Easy for me to say though, as I wasn't right next to them :)

Can't say that it bothered me that much (though I wasn't that near it). Did seem to spark the South Bank off a few times, which then started chants from other parts of the ground

If its used sparingly then have no real problem with hearing it again.

Hated it before, hated it during and hate it after. May as well just bring Tom Hark back while we are at it.

Were you in the South Bank TT? I'm WL8 and, like PLF, couldnt really hear it that much.

No NB, but thought it was really loud in the first 15 minutes. I appreciate my views are fairly entrenched, but as I said on Friday I don't want us to have one of those soulless manufactured atmospheres like Bolton or Blackburn

Didn't bother me. Liked it when they were helping with the beat to the songs. I sit in the Steve Bull though, not sure I'd want them sat next to me!

I was in the Steve Bull (JL9) and it didn't really impinge that much - might have felt different if I was right next to it though

I was in WU1 and I thought it was fine. Wasn't used purely because it was there, but to join in with chants.

The drum was ok much like it was at Man City earlier in the season as the lad doesn't use it for the sake of using it and only uses it during some chants and to get the odd chant when the noise drops a little. It was quite close to me too as i'm in S1 and while i'm not the biggest fan of the drums etc being used it didn't really bother me but not sure i would want it every game.

When I don't watch England play I'm not sure if I don't watch them because they play shite or because of the England band

It's the shit football for me. Can't hear the band play as I have to turn the sound off because of the shit commentary.

Took a photo after the game as we were walking from the ground to the Bohemian and tarted it up on SnapSeed so thought I'd post it here as it seeing as it's had a good reception on Twitter!

Nearly as good as my floodlit one used in the banner.
