Wolves 2-1 Leicester: Verdict Thread

Well that wasn't very good was it? We were lucky to be against a Leicester team missing 6 of their first 11, but that's their problem not ours. We got away with RAN, Kilman, Semedo and Moutinho all having their worst games of the season. The defending was very unlike us, susceptible to the most basic of movement, making bang average players like Albrighton and Lookman look dangerous time and again.

That's the type of game Utd win time and again though so I think there's a positive there, but more of the same on Thursday will end in a defeat.

Saw some comments on the matchday thread about the atmosphere, it was understandably nervy in the last 5 minutes, but other than that absolutely fine

I'll take the 3 points, and a cup of tea back in the warmth of my own house.

Awful conditions to watch a game of football without a roof. Game wasn't much cop but winning is always good.

Shutting up the gobshites from Leicester was most satisfying, they really think they're all that.

Thought the atmosphere was pretty good, especially given conditions. I’ll be home in about an hour and finally able to get these socks off, soaking since the subway foot bath.

Not seen us cut open so easily all season. Couldn’t quite work out what was going wrong. Fantastic to see Neto back though, hopefully a bit more conviction going forward now. Big 3 points and hopefully a one-off poor performance out of the way.

Strangely, the view from here in Leicester country is that our second was definitely offside…

I'll take 3 points and a train from Birmingham 91 minutes after it was due and only being able to get as far as Leeds due to other cancellations...

20 mins good, 25 mins dodgy...45 mins crap.
2 cracking goals though.
File under "Got away with that one" even though they only really had a couple of chances despite dominating the ball.

A quick word about Kasper...don't ref the game son you look like a twat. Also very very lucky not to get a red card right at the death. As he raced back as Neto broke, he took an almighty swing at Raul's legs but didn't connect properly.

Great to see Neto back and full of running and energy. No holding back or looking nervous.

I’m suprised it was given and can see an argument for either decision to be honest. Glad it went our way Ofcourse

It's not even remotely interfering. Needless run though as if the keeper spills it, he's off

Tbf, though, Atwell had a couple of chances to shaft us today and didn't take them. I was sure we were going to get VARed at some point along the way, but he actually followed the rules for a change.

Stuart Attwell asks if he can be let out of the vAR room yet as Wolves fans ensure he played fair

we won fucking rejoice!

can i point out that although we weren't barca they didn't really do anything great, so fuck em they can kiss my ass.
I enjoyed Podence's performance after I'd almost give up on him.
You wouldn't hear Man Utd fans lamenting a victory in that style. Think big

From the footage sky showed looks as if he’s having to look round Raul IMO. As I’ve said glad it went our way

We’ll it’s a rugby county so they’re probably struggling to get their heads around the laws.

Apparently Leicester fans hate him and thinks he gives them nothing. Our Coote basically.
