Wolves 1-4 Manchester United: Verdict Thread

I mean he’s got the worst squad since probably the mid 80’s to work with but the lack of intensity and safety first stuff just isn’t working.
Not like he's had a pre season, then there's the international break too, then the huge lack of effort let alone skill. Did you hear how honest he was after the game?

It's not his style or coaching yet LET Alone his squad.

I'm not saying he's any good even, just not to blame for anything so far...

I really can’t see how we attract anyone in January - anyone good enough for a side hoping to get out of the Championship will have multiple better offers. A relegation procession isn’t going to appeal to anyone. We’re up shit creek without a canoe!

I know this never happens but we literally need to get rid of the lot.

Not just about ability, we're getting humped and thoroughly outclassed week after week for the next four and a half months. The player's heads will be fucking spaghetti by then, I don't want any of the cunts lining up for us next August
I don't like any of them apart from Toti who really does as well as he can and will probably be alright in the Championship on effort alone.

The ones with ability checked out weeks ago and we have way too many others who have no business whatsoever playing at this level.

As I've said before, even the 2012/13 disasterclass had Sako and SEB, and others like Foley and Ward who I could never dislike despite their time here clearly being up.

I'm not sure I've ever seen a team at any level be so fundamentally lacking at both ends of the pitch. We play five defenders and two defensive midfielders every single game and still leak goals at a horrific rate. I have no idea what on earth our plan is in terms of scoring goals.

Set up doesn’t work so that’s 100% on him and the Sunday league view that numbers at back solves problems.

Hasn't he started with a back five (and it is a back five) in every single game so far and after an hour had to take a CH off for a more attacking (theoretically at least) player because we're losing and going nowhere.

I mean join the dots.

He'll do it again on Saturday too.

Not just about ability; make no mistake, we're getting humped and thoroughly outclassed week after week relentlessly by all other 19 teams for the next four and a half months. The player's heads will be fucking spaghetti by then, I don't want any of the cunts lining up for us next August
It’s not even the lack of ability - it’s the attitude of the players. It’s fucking disgusting across the board.

You’re quite right - they can all go.

The plan is simple - get the ball into the box early. The flaw is that generally the only player in the vicinity is the spineless, heartless JSL.

As for Rob Edwards - let's have a look at Mick McCarthy's first two seasons in the PL for us. It certainly wasn't pretty at times but a) he could grind out points and b) he knew how to play to the strengths of the key attacker (Doyle and then Fletcher).

What about Edwards so far makes you think he could do anything similar?

And Mick was routinely (not by me) painted as variously a dinosaur, or thick, or out of his depth.

And we didn't pay £4m to hire him.

Been re-watching the 2012/13 season car crash (I’m a glutton for punishment), and if Sako and SEB hadn’t got injured in March we’d probably have survived (despite the imbecile in charge).

Agree re the players you mentioned - you could at least like and/or respect some of the 2012/13 squad - unlike the current muppets we now have.

Forget promotion back to the PL next season, I’m just hoping we can avoid a double relegation given how the club is (mis) managed and the players we have (and need to turf).

A Kenny Jacket reset is desperately needed

I’ve never felt so humiliated being a Wolves fan for nearly 60 years.

We’re just a horrible football club. No redeemable features except probably lots of good people behind the scenes who’s jobs are now at risk

This is it, the same good people who came up with the mental health video were probably ordered by the spiteful, vindictive cunts running the club to do that tonight.

I like Rob Edwards but I didnt think he was the right appointment, no-one I know did, also most of the players have given up but the main reason we are where we are is Shi and Fosun. Until they are gone I fear for our club.
God knows what the squad will look like this time next season. If its mid table Championship standard Ill be impressed. Its a real skill to have us here from the position we were 3 or 4 seasons ago.

Me and my lad were discussing who in the league we have a chance of beating. Best I could come up with is somehow scamming a win against Burnley. Leeds are shit but have more fight that us. Everyone else is better than us by some margin.
I would add that Jarrod Bowen could beat us on his own for WHU. If he doesn't play we have a chance......

The way things are going I’d like us to try something no club has ever done, start a season with a completely new set of players and a new manager. There’s not one player currently here that I’d miss.

We weren't far off in 2013/14 by the time we got to Nov or so

Ikeme (fair enough, was already playing)

Ricketts (new)
Stearman (had been sent off on loan to Ipswich)
Batth (hadn't played 10 games for us)
Golbourne (new)

McDonald (new)
Price (only debuted that season)

Henry (new)
Jacobs (new)
Sako (not new, none of 2012/13 was his fault)

Griffiths (only debuted that season)/then Dicko (basically new)

I still like Joao Gomes, imo he's still giving it everything but quality wise he has been dragged down to the same standard of those around him. Inevitable when you have the amount of players we have with lack of talent and/or lack of heart.

Ironically the last position I want to see someone stay is goalkeeper!

Well I've been banging on about a back four since Pereira was here. Make the four responsible. Do your job!! And make us more creative in the process. (Cant be any less).

I think it’s inevitable he will be sold so I suppose I subconsciously excluded him.

Oh he'll definately go, also Andre and Larsen but I dont think we'll get anywhere near their value. Who in their right mind is giving us actual money for any of the others.
No idea what the deal with Krejci is, whether we have to sign him or not. He was poor tonight but has shown previously he can be decent.
