Wolves 1-4 Brighton: Verdict Thread

He can't really win there can he? If he storms off down the tunnel he looks arrogant and non caring.

Facing the fans after a defeat is surely better than not?
Bitch eating crackers syndrome, innit?

There's quite the gap between storming off and not going out onto the pitch to wave at fans.

Liverpool was loud.
Always tend to be up for it against Liverpool, United etc. Brentford etc then no.
Goals tend to liven games up or at least attempts on goal. Haven't had a lot of them on the last few years. Difficult to get excited from a crowd point of view.
Agreed. We’ve been pretty terrible on that front for a while. Thought the atmosphere was ok first half compared to how it has been because we were having a go. We don’t have any songs though.
It is more apathy than negative. There were boos when the 4th went in on Saturday and at the end.
Always going to be but it wasn’t that much considering we got spanked 1-4.

We obviously have differing opinions here but I’m not going to go all in and be detrimental to the team when I thought we were in the game and should have been at least level. It went totally flat after 2 and 3 as we know as a club we won’t score that many so it was done.
GoN had the brass neck to come out and clap the fans which was stupid I thought.
He’s losing either way here in someone’s eyes.
It'll get toxic if we lose heavily between now and Liverpool.
It probably will as like last year we will be deep in shit. Willing to wait till then though and hopefully won’t be needed.

He did the right thing. Showed that he’s accountable rather than just fucking off down the tunnel. Those that were left sang “we love you wanderers” so they weren’t angry with O’Neil doing that and rightly so.

Lage used to milk it if we'd won (normally in a wholly unconvincing fashion) and disappear if we lost, that was way worse.

Did they sing somewhere else other than the SB then as I was there until the players walked off.

Kilman was applauded as were a few others.

Can't remember any singing though. Must've been in the super fan section as the stadium was nearly empty when I left which was about 4 minutes after the ref blew the final whistle.

I rewatched Saturdays performance again this morning.
The noticeable thing to me is the apparent difference in energy levels compared to the Utd game.
Makes me wonder what the training was like between the two games.
Perhaps it was just down to Brighton's pace compared to Man U's?
obviously they had a couple of days more to recover from the first round of fixtures, but that shouldn't have been a major factor.

Definitely did happen in the Southbank. No reason for me to make something up.

In the superfan section yes as it was 5 minutes after the final whistle so that’s why you missed it…

It did strike me that another group of people who should be really worried by Saturday's events are Man U fans. Then again, as I don't really care what the people of Guildford and Basingstoke think, fck em.

Not in S5 they didn't.

Why were you singing after the players left the pitch?

They make them different in S5. It definitely happened over in S1/S2. You probably didn’t hear it over your chants at Jeff and Guo.

Obviously wasn’t singing after they left the pitch, I wasn’t being entirely serious with the time.

They certainly do, we can use our noses to breathe with.

Of course I'm only joking 😃

I just don't see what the endgame is in an argument where one side says "I heard folks slating Fosun" and the other says "nuh uh, I didn't it hear it, prove that you did."

What are we even doing at that point?
