Wolves 1-4 Brighton: Verdict Thread

They certainly do, we can use our noses to breathe with.

Of course I'm only joking 😃
The classic mouthbreather joke. Brilliant, although as you’re in the Southbank now you will gradually lose that ability because we are all the same. Mouthbreathers, incapable of logical thinking or understanding.

Most probably.

I just don't see what the endgame is in an argument where one side says "I heard folks slating Fosun" and the other says "nuh uh, I didn't it hear it, prove that you did."

What are we even doing at that point?
You've missed the point of this completely and it's pretty hard to understand if you've never been to the ground or experienced our support.

That's not me being snarky, just a simple fact

TT highlighted it earlier when Mark made his snide jibe about support. In ground atmosphere is part of the discussion and completely different to message boards as I'm sure you can appreciate.

When you come over you might understand it better but until then you just can't.

By the same token people (who actually go to games, so should know better) were saying it would be "feral" against Rennes, let alone Brighton, and that was obviously not going to happen.

I think Sa is a fucking liability but I don't see the point of booing him when he's at the North Bank end.

By all accounts, there was a little thing between Sa and a couple of fans having a go and he told them to come down and see if they could do better.

Whether that’s true or not I don’t know.

I may never have been to Molineux but I've been to enough sporting events for largely hopeless teams (hello, Charlotte Hornets); I've been in sporting arenas when they get toxic. It doesn't tend to induce the outcomes people think they want.

I'm ignorant of a lot of things but I'm not a sporting baby or even a Wolves one at this point; I know how fans can get and if the owners start to bear the brunt of the negativity they really can't have any complaints. It's pulling up other supporters for not being negative enough (by way of an inability to think for themselves) that is, simply, not on.

Not screaming for Jeff to fuck off does not somehow equate to diminished mental capability.

You can't understand the atmosphere at Molineux if you've never been.

I've never been to Charlotte so wouldn't understand what that is like.

That's just a simple fact Alan.

It’s a fairly pointless assumption to anyone with a decent set of batteries in a calculator.

As I keep saying, if Lage didn't get it in the neck when his football was awful, the results were worse than awful and he was a complete prick, this righteous anger isn't going to happen.

Certainly won't vs Liverpool or Man City as everyone thinks we'll lose anyway.

You've said this before but Molineux was toxic towards Sellars after Lage.

There were a smattering of boos on Saturday at the final whistle which will become loud if there is another performance like Saturday, maybe not against Liverpool but certainly will be against Villa if we play like we did against Brighton and we only have a point or two.

Not sure who that will be directed at but they will be there.

"Toxic", I don't know about that. A bit of stuff in one game when we went 0-4 down.

Wasn't even the right target either, as badly out of his depth as he was.

Back to the football:

There are about five things here Fabio could have done where it probably would have ended in a goal and he did none of them.
