They sound like they are gasping in appreciation to me, they knew.He meant it, of course. But on all those clips you can hear the SB, most of whom attend every game, and they weren't sure.
After seeing it a 'few' times and a freeze frame side on, I'm inclined to think he meant itBtw after seeing the angle behind the goal Neves definitely meant it
Being disrespectful is criticising an entire body of work (i.e. Nuno), rather than in this case critiquing a single passage of play.By the way, on the "disrespectful" thing (I have no interest in getting involved in this specific debate about the pass ) it really isn't about shutting down discussion.
When people shat all over the work the best Wolves manager most of us have ever seen* just because he happened to no longer be our manager, or as in last week, it was basically said that Joao Moutinho had been shite for 18 months, that's disrespectful and deserves to called out as such. I mean in Case B it's not even true.
*I hope Bruno Lage takes this title some day. He has absolutely miles to go though.
Ruben was on acid?..... makes his performance even more amazingBeing disrespectful is criticising an entire body of work (i.e. Nuno), rather than in this case critiquing a single passage of play. We can all point out the occasional shite Beatles song - its not being disrespectful to their amazing legacy its just pointing out that, at times, a little less acid might have been good.
Now that is disrespectfulRuben was on acid?..... makes his performance even more amazing

I think you are missing the point, or perhaps you misunderstood me.Being disrespectful is criticising an entire body of work (i.e. Nuno), rather than in this case critiquing a single passage of play.

It really isn't, it's akin to not loving your wife just because she forgot to pick you some shaving foam up whilst shopping, it's a nothing, an insignificance !I felt it was disrespectful to draw the conclusion from that pass that Neves had fucked his shot up rather than a wonderfully executed pass.
Especially when you consider all the evidence (aside of what you see with your eyes), like his previous form for shooting (in that if he does miss the target he doesn't miss like that) or the unbelievable passes we have seen in the past (Burton, Leicester, etc.)
The bloke is incredibly talented, of course he can fuck up at times, but it was clear from how he executed that and the position he was in with his body shape and his head that he intended it, it's disrespectful and in fact as Jonny said, ignorant to draw any other conclusion in my opinion.
Well you should, because one of those fuckers was in the FA Cup semi final (and one of his assists)You know I don't count cup goals as opposition is variable
He never scored more than 4 goals in a league season for Wolves, albeit he did become very consistent at doing that (managed that in each of his final four seasons here).
It was nothing like enough to compensate for how we had to set up the team to cover what he can't do. Four goals is nothing really. If you've got an Ian Harte who might get you 12-15, then maybe. Old ground though.
