Wolves 1-0 Sheff Utd: Verdict Thread

Equally anecdotally from having 2 kids in their late teens an enormous amount more of that generation now vape than those a decade older smoked. Should be available on prescription for smokers who want to give up, not for kids to develop habits they wouldn't otherwise have had.
It feels like Vaping companies are targeting the youth (👴) to me, with the flavours and how they are advertised.

That's an idea!
And I agree on the amended point. I don’t get why people would vape if they’ve never smoked anyway. It’s certainly not ‘cool’ and I wish I didn’t rely on it.
I imagine for the same reasons people start with cigs; you're in a high-strung situation and there's an easy one to bum. You know you're making a mistake but go through with it regardless because you just need something in that moment.

And then you're snared.

Again it's one person's experience but more kids in my lads year vape regularly than smoked when I was the same age in the 5th year 35 years ago. More also smoke weed, so there's also an element of changing times in there

Do you think maybe kids these days (heh) are just less worried about hiding vaping than we would have been with cigs? So it seems worse than it is?

Just, uh, trying to find a silver lining I guess.

Weed is absolutely everywhere these days. Even down in Rickmansworth where it’s pretty affluent I smell it everywhere. I’m pretty hypocritical here as I used to smoke it a lot but I can’t stand smelling it wherever I am and it’s opened my eyes a bit that it’s so rife. We were driving between Ricky and Kings Langley the other day, stuck in traffic with a copper car in front and you could smell weed so thick and the coppers didn’t even bat an eyelid.

Kids these days don’t really give a fuck. Not all kids, don’t get me wrong there but in general the ones who want to do that kind of thing just don’t care.

Old man yells at cloud (of marijuana smoke) ;)

The one he used to create. To be fair when I did it I at least I tried to hide it or stay inconspicuous.

Just poking; if there's anything in the world I can't rightly look down my nose at people over, it's weed.

Me neither. Just have some fucking respect for other people.

And given the fact its advertised in football grounds and widely available for them, why would they? There's no jeopardy.

Always wonder if part of the reason we don't get legalization is the smell. Not much difference in seeing your neighbour sat in their back garden having a few cans compared to having a few spliffs. Other than the absolute pong wafting in through your windows

Gotta get NHS to hand out water pipes for everyone.

  • Haha
Reactions: b3h
Maybe our players hit the weed and that explains the 2nd half?

So when alcohol and tobacco products were advertised it was fine for kids? Sake.
