Wolves 0-0 Brighton: Verdict Thread

No objections to BHA tactics, needs must for them we seemed pretty fine with MM employing the same style at the end of 09/10 season.
7th isnt gone win the next 2 games and it’s back on. Just a horrible game which on another day we win 2-0 happy days.

Agree. Maybe not played “well” but we were ok and had Donck taken his chance we wouldn’t be upset at all.

“Cost us dearly” like it’s an absolute disaster is hilarious though
We were more than ok IMO. Created more than enough to win easily. If one of those chances had fallen for us all the talk would be about how we controlled the game and how we were on track for 7th and Europe. Instead we've got negative shit about how poor Jonny/MGW were (they both played well) and second guessing Nuno's subs/starting line up(which were perfectly reasonable decisions).

It's spoilt, entitled, ignorant bullshit.

We completely dominated but were just unlucky. That's it for me.

YW in reading too much in to a normal comment shocker.

This season has been a world away from an “absolute disaster”. But if we’d found a way to play against sides like Brighton, it could have gone from being a decent season to an incredible season.

You’ve got your head in the sand if you disagree, but I’m not going to try to persuade you otherwise.

offical stats show 22 shots and only 5 on target. 2 of those were donk straight at the keeper, one was the neves long range, cant remember the other ones unless they count the two jota posts

Didn't our Portuguese friends say that Nuno struggled to score goals in Portugal? Ended up being too many draws?

Either way, it was obvious beforehand that Vinagre should have started.

This - and the subs were way, way too late. Pedestrian, slow, no ideas. Deserved to draw to a really shit, defensive team.

On the plus side, I’d rather watch us than brighton every week, Chris Hughton sides are awful, defensive, dreary shite.

It’s been more than a decent season. Come on.

This is just absolutely incredible.

We hit the post 3 times, Ryan made a few quality saves, had a shot flashed past the post and numerous other threatening periods of play that just didn't quite drop for us but we've got no ideas?

We weren't slow today, we were sharp and totally dominating but just unlucky.

We didn't play particularly great IMO. We played ok, but it was impossible not to given how much possession they gave us. I don't consider 5 shots on goal out of 22 attempts playing well enough though.

when you have 70% possession, vs a team with ZERO shots on target, you really have the freedom to create better chances

Oh great... here we go again :icon_lol:
So many people saying the same thing to you every week. But yeah, we're the ones who are wrong, you're 100% right to be sat there in your armchair slating Wolves.

Agree with you Jinky. There are some on here who seem to think the team should be immune from criticism, and that if you dare to criticise a poor performance you somehow are an inferior supporter. It's utter shite.

No idea what game you were watching mate. Ryan made two good saves in the whole game and we had four shots on target. In no way whatsoever were we sharp. The only time in the whole game we actually looked like we might score was jotas header that hit the post.

Vinagre looked good when he came on.

FFS Lycan reign it in with your hysterics.

5 on target, plus the 3 off the woodwork.

At some stage though, 'being unlucky' becomes something more serious. Four games against Brighton and Huddersfield, no goals

We weren't unlucky in the 2 games against Huddersfield, we were shit.

This game, we were unlucky.
