The Zyro injury doesn't surprise me, he played far too many minutes in such a short space of time when he hadn't played for months. He looked fucked at half time of the Cardiff game.

He never used to be like that. In League One he made a change before half time on a couple of occasions. It's something that's crept in to the point of parody now, you just know it's an inevitability in nearly every single game that the opposition will bring on fresh players, change things around a bit, we'll do absolutely nothing to react and completely lose ground.

Then again he never used to play insipid percentage football or set the team up with two players on the left who struggle to use their left peg for standing...

I think that's a large part of it too. If I'm really harsh on KJ; Dicko should have been substituted 10-15 mins before his injury, Graham played far too much for a player just starting to play first team football, Zyro played far too much for a player who has had a season of injuries, Hause and Eel both barely played first team footy and both picked up injuries.

Kenny's use of subs has never been good even in league 1, now he's injuring players with his inept abilities as a manager. His lack of using his bench every match is expected, never seems to identify when momentum is swinging and new face would be useful.

His career is over - a shame for the guy as he seemed to have promise but we will never know about that.

I agree with the points Aikiwolf has stated above, too many minutes for unfit players after long lay offs, nothing in training is going to be close to an actual match. That to me is ill judgment on his behalf letting a player be exposed to that environment too early for too long. I don't dislike Kenny either just wish he'd be more proactive in his use of subs. Sick of game after game where we have some pointless tocken sub at 85 mins. Even QPR match only got one change due to Edwards getting knobbled.

How many games had Zyro played this season before he came to Wolves?

Seems to be around 8 games with league and various cups, was out of squad for all but two games on his return from injury on 31/10/15. Two sub appearances which he played around 15 mins. Another 20 mins in a cup game. The problem is now for kenny it's so thread bear his hand is forced at times, but he could of been more careful with the lad.

He was injured from 6th of August till the 2nd of November. He missed about 8 weeks last season and nearly 4 months the year before with injuries. He is injury prone. Nothing to do with Kenny.
What about Sigurdarson? How many games has he played this season?
If Kenny is told a player is fit, he can play him. If he is told he isn't fit, he would not play him.
So you could say our medical team are making mistakes, but I doubt that too.

Anyway I didn't mean to sound like a total Kenny hating dick, it's just frustration more than anything at this season a whole. Which is certainly not all his fault by a long way.

It's certainly not all of KJs fault but I keep thinking back to when MM swapped almost all of the first team for the game against man utd. He stated it was due to medical advice on an increased risk of injuries. The volume of full games in quick succession has, imo, been a direct cause of some of the injuries.

The medical department may be responsible for some of the lengthy layoffs - but is that due to Wolves only reporting the best scenario for a return to fitness and not the worst/likely?

VLP is the new Ronaldo now but I thought his after match interview against QPR as slightly arrogant when for the most part he's been a drab failure. He can fuck off for all I care - you don't fool me Reggie. A quality wide player is on the same wavelength as those they supply and all I've seen this season is crosses put in with no real thought. We are a stats based team - put x amount in etc. etc. etc.

Given our system and method Edwards will be a massive loss because we seem incapable of not letting in two our three without him and Coady running round and doing what they are doing. It actually scares me to think we may go 4-4-2 again but we're safe so lets just go with the flow. We wont get any meaningful signing in this window but the club really should be looking towards pre-season and a new metamorphosis.

He's certainly arrogant, and his admittedly decent run masks a pretty pathetic before now.

While I hope he carries this on, he's nowhere near the player he thinks he is.
