What are you currently listening to....

Steve Mason's album "Monkey Minds in the Devil's Time"

How good is it?

I loved the beta band, & a mate loves all steve masons stuff, raves abot king biscuit time etc, so I'm wondering if it is worth a dabble?

Well I enjoyed it. Not really listened to any of his or Beta Band's stuff in the past. It's on Spotify if you fancy a listen.

Currently listening to -

Peace - In Love
Foals - Holy Fire
Bastille - Bad Blood
Local Natives - Hummingbird

I'm also off to watch The Kooks in a one off UK show at Oxford Academy in the middle of April so have been listening to a lot of them.

Just leading on from that, give this a go - local lads too (well, from Brum).

Was gutted to miss the chance of seeing Local Natives last month, but see they are back in the UK for a tour in October.

Lovely, lovely band. Insane harmonies live - I saw them in Portsmouth recently and would definitely recommend seeing them.

I'm a massive REM fan - but I think this is the best album. Just superb.

The latest offering from Frank Turner is currently getting office airplay.

5 songs in and I am impressed and on the back of loving his last album, it is now time to go and get his back catalogue.

Yeah Frank Turner's album is really good. I actually preferred his last album which was much more folky but I think this one is more like his usual stuff.

The track 'Tattoo' reminds me of Wombat!

Graffiti on a Train by The Stereophonics. Surprisingly very good.
