Maybe it was the B-side to Daft Punk Is Playing At My House?

I'm not sure who I dislike the most, LCD Soundsystem or Daft Punk.

Could have been House. Could have been Car! My memory is crap.

LCD Soundsystem are wank. I like Daft Punk's late 90s/early 00s work.

They are wank yes. That's why I only like one track.

One More Time and Digital Love are great Daft Punk tracks. The latter I especially love. Even when it's used in the Juliette Lewis advert for The Gap where she's dancing with the two of them!

Nowt wrong with either!

My music taste's are not very broad TBH. If it's not guitar or piano driven then I'm generally not a fan. I can't actually think of anything 'electronic' that is in my album collection. I hated all those bands that were popular in the 90's such as Orbital, Chemical Brothers, Daft Punk, Underworld, Leftfield etc...They just don't appeal to me for whatever reason.

And I thought you were a decent man....

Fat Of The Land is a great album if we're talking dance/electronic stuff.

Monster of an album.

The 90's were absolutely awash with superb electronic stuff.

Orbital - In Sides is just absurdly good.

I don't really hate The Prodigy. I actually like a few tracks by them on the first 2 albums, especially Voodoo People. I also used to own the Chemical Brothers Hey Boy Hey Girl single. I just couldn't listen to a whole album of it, I'd lose interest.

I like a few bits of Prodigy. And then saw them at Sonisphere and was profoundly unimpressed. Boring. Loud was the only thing in their favour.

Just no! :smack:

Seth Lakeman's new album 'Ballads of the Broken Few' is out today, just listened to it on Spotify.

Absolutely brilliant - his best album in a while IMO. It features a female trio called Wildwood Kin on backing vocals, so plenty of harmonies on every song which really helps it. Much more stripped back than his more recent stuff with far fewer instruments but it works superbly, especially with the extra vocals.

Seeing him in Brum at the start of December - always an excellent gig.

Just received the new album by The Beat ft Ranking Roger, the first studio album for 34 years...My it takes me back to my youth!

Also noticed that The(English)Beat ft Dave Wakeling have an album due out next year, will be getting that too

James - Girl At The End Of The World.

Really like this - first time I've heard it.

:D

I love it as an album. Think it is really strong. Took me a few listens, but when I got into it loved it.
A kind sole got me a ticket for their december gig at the civic, and I hear they're working on album number 15, so hopefully a few unknown bits will be played.

Fave tracks, the title track & catapult imo.
