In desperate need of that South Park Meme.

Not between Transfer windows. So what happened with Williamson (remember those few weeks he was fit) won't happen this season.

The clubs *may* have an option to recall in January, like Liverpool did last season with Ojo

It's being reported in the Manchester press that there is a recall clause for CBJ for January, if needed.

Unlikely to invoke it unless they get serious injury problems. Shaw will be first choice, then Rojo, Blind and Young can all play there too.

Unless Shaw breaks again I think CBJ will be here for the season. A fully fit Shaw is the best Left Back out there.

There's lots of things that surprise me with Mourinho, one of them is how little he rotates his defenders and how fit they seem to be through the season. He rarely has any big injuries.

I dont rate Shaw at the level as most on here.. He is pretty good going forward but lacks a fair bit defensively

Shaw will have at least as good a career as Ashley Cole had. There, I said it.

shaw is going to be world class. I'd say he is better defensively than going forward tbh

Shaw's better at defending than attacking for me!

I might add for the uninitiated that Fred rates Alberto Moreno.

Not above Shaw in a million years.. I think Bertrand is a better LB, Rose also challenges

Rose is not better than Shaw :icon_lol:

You carry on, I think I'm done here.

Just my opinion that Shaw is a bit overrated that's all

To be fair, Rose was better than Shaw for huge chunks of last season....

I like Rose but he's nowhere near as good as Shaw.

Delighted with both. Some harsh comments on John - he's basically a better version of Helan. In terms of the squad, he gives us another good option for the wide areas. We're making a lot of loan signings - if we can get ourselves in and amongst that top 6 come January with the squad we've assembled I fully expect Fosun to invest heavily to push us on again.

We've got to all be delighted with the business so far.

Similar to what Watford did a couple of seasons back with their udinese ties. We needed new blood and we have it. We needed quality and we have certainly added that this window. Stale players needed competition and Batth Ikeme, Mason,Wallace, have all made decent consistent starts.
