Welcome to Wolves Vitor Pereira

If we stay up, reinvest any Cunha money on a couple of decent wide forwards and maybe a GK then there's no reason VP can't have us mid-table next season.

Agree but the board are far too reactive. IF we stay up, I see no other scenario other than us not investing in the team again until we're in the shit at the wrong end of the table. Again. Probably with a new head coach.

I appreciate this is a rather pessimistic outlook but I can't see anything else happening.

IF we stay up, of course. If we go down, fuck knows what will happen.

I'd be really surprised if got another 6-9 months let alone 2 years.
As a manager usually goes when results start falling off, what’s the end game here? He’s going to potentially keep us up and then start the season abysmally? Bloody hope not

I’m pleased we’ve got a proper manager now rather than that joker but I can’t really warm to the guy for some reason.

Maybe it’s because I just don’t see him as a long term solution.
VP is 100% leaving Wolves in a blaze of glory. Because eithey they are relegated now or going to be relegated next season when the team finds itself yet again in a relegation scrap. He's not know to stay at a club beyond 2 years at most and I can't see this ownership group being the one he's calm about.

Interesting but not a surprise that others hold a similar view.

If we stay up, next season will be more of the same.

Gomes, Semedo and Cunha leaving who won't be adequately replaced (Like Neto and Kilman). VP will be up against it straight away.

At some point, 1 of the 3 promoted teams will finish 17th or above.

Agree with the bulk of this but will we really sell both JG and Cunha in one window?

In the Summer someone will trigger Cunha's release clause so he will be off, Dawson, Semedo and Sarabia, are out of contract. There is another section of players that either aren't up to the required level at all or are too inconsistent/broken to perform at this level including S.Bueno,Forbs, Doyle, Guedes, Hwang and Kalajdzic. Others that have question marks are probably Sa (would like a replacement but might be down the list of priorities again,) Traore and Bellegarde (depending on how much and to what level they play from now until the end of the season.)

That's quite a lot of players that fall in the categories of will be leaving/should be leaving/not bothered if they leave or not.

That’s a fair point. Funny a lot of people turning their nose up at moyes when he was linked.
He’s a good manager. I want him nowhere near us.

I’m never letting the Zouma shit go. I can’t do it.

Cunha is nailed on to go. I think RAN might but not sure if any big teams would pay what we think he's worth, I guess 40m would do it.
Gomes also 40-50m might be enough. Andre will probably be on a few teams shopping list.
Of those I think Ricardo would replace RAN with not so much drop in quality. We're gunna need at least 2 forwards plus at least one midfielder, I'm not hopeful.
