He's the one where you can see we have a replacement available. That's the only way selling your best players has any chance of working and why we were so badly prepared this season. Jota to Neto, Neves to Gomes were OK as the replacement was here and had some experience, RAN to Gomes has a chance to be the same. Cunha's replacement isn't here and it can't be someone who takes 6 months or longer to get up to speed.

Forwards generally cost more so far more difficult to get a player lined up to take over. It’s not just Cunha we have to replace though, as SL aside none of the other forward options are remotely fit for purpose. Sarabia is off anyway but Hwang and Guedes are dreadful options and I’ll be amazed if we sign Forbs unless we end up having to play him and trigger an appearance clause. Best to view it as an opportunity to start again and pray we are better at it than we have been for a very long time.

I find the practice of ear-cropping to be gross as shit, and it's bad for the dog without question. I would still suggest there is a difference between that and using a feline as a fucking hacky-sack.
