fuck him off for as much as we can get.
I reckon we might get up to £62.5m for him

Nah, there'll be a bidding warI reckon we might get up to £62.5m for him
You're absolutely right. There will be a bidding war .... for Cunha's wages.Nah, there'll be a bidding war![]()
Depends what you base your vote on, quality/output or whether it's your favourite.Anybody that doesn't vote for Cunha should have their season ticket revoked
I don't believe this for a moment. If you think he's worth that now, then not playing in half a dozen end of season dead rubbers isn't going to change your view.Thing is, it’s likely he’s going.
If he doesn’t play him, then really he needs
To do the same with other players that won’t be here. The issue is though Cunha has a contract. If you don’t play semedo, etc as they’re out of contract, it doesn’t matter.
Don’t play Cunha then he’ll be disruptive and we won’t get 62.5m for him.
I’d play him, firstly because we are stronger with him in, and secondly we’ve been discussing there may not be a market for him, if that situation materialises and he stays, then refusing to play him because he ‘likely’ won’t be here is counter productive.
Non starter of an argument for me personally
Depends on what he’s discussed with the club. But if you refuse to play him because he’s likely growing, you think he’ll sit there quietly and be like ‘fair enough guys, I understand your view, il wait for a bid of 62.5m and we will shake hands’?I don't believe this for a moment. There will be a market, whether he plays every game or none, just not necessarily the one he envisages
What if there's essentially already a deal lined up with whoever it was seemed to turn his head in January? They might be glad of his lack of minutes and he might be happy to put his feet up reducing injury risk ahead of his big move move.Depends on what he’s discussed with the club. You don’t play him, he is likely to kick up a fuss, and then potential suitors will come in lower. Yes, we have a release clause but if he actively says we’ll
You’ve dropped me, im not playing for you, the the release
Clause won’t necessarily be met.
This is all moot of course, as we aren’t dropping him for rest of season. BUT if we did, we could get less potentially is my point
They’re all what ifs, aren’t they. What if there's essentially already a deal lined up with whoever it was seemed to turn his head in January? They might be glad of his lack of minutes and he might be happy to put his feet up reducing injury risk ahead of his big move move.
It's not daft if he doesn't want to play. They’re all what ifs, aren’t they.
I’m just speculating if you have an unhappy player, you don’t go in at ‘asking price’ do you.
It’s just a daft conversation to say ‘yeah we’re not playing you’
Ok, so we’ve gone from us dropping him because he may be going, to now him not wanting to play? It's not daft if he doesn't want to play.
By you, in your previous postOk, so we’ve gone from us dropping him because he may be going, to now him not wanting to play?
