Welcome to Wolves - Joao Gomes

No pressure on the boy that's for sure...

I am so tempted to buy a shirt with his number and Pitbull on the back to take to Oz

Got a great feeling abou this one. Welcome, João.

Excited by the signing but I do honestly feel it's one for next season and beyond, predominantly.

If we're going 4-3-3 from here then I expect Neves and Nunes to start every game if available, then I would think that Lemina - who is vastly more experienced, knows the Premier League and has made a promising first couple of appearances - would get the nod more often than not. Then we have Moutinho with everything he offers and Bouba coming back shortly.

But nothing wrong at all with succession planning and this is very much one where we've nabbed him before he goes on to cost many multiples of what we've paid now.

And me. Gomes - Neves - Nunes.

Moutinho Lemina Boubacar as the back ups.

Fucking drool.

Excited for this one. I think him being so keen and passionate to come is going to give the others a lift too.

Oh yes, there's no way he is a definite starter with Neves in front of him. It does give a bit of healthy competition though, and gives Gomes plenty of time to learn how to play the role for Wolves too.

I just can't believe we actually have a midfield beyond Neves and Moutinho now!! Genuinely six options, great for subs

That reveal vid's pure class.

He's carried himself admirably through all the drama- can't wait to see him play.

Echo what Deutsch has said that this is succession planning with his guaranteed place in the side arriving when others have gone. Not seen him play but from the reports and youtube videos, would it work with him in the central role with Neves and Nunes either side?
