I think being 28 he's institutionalised into South American football too much, most South Americans get out at an early age and develop better. I don't think Arias will ever be a great success in European football in my view.

Suspect he’s shattered and needs a break. He’s also likely one of these players that needs a season here to acclimatise and will kick on next season.

The problem is, we don’t have time for that - and he won’t be here next season if we’re in the championship.

It looks like another shocker from the recruitment team, IMO. There would have been so many other targets more suited to us that would have hit the ground running.
