Welcome to Wolves Emmanuel Agbadou

Around the 80 minute mark yesterday, he just holds the forward off, waits, waits…..and then just dinks it around him with no fuss. A defender that wants to defend. Absolute class.

Is he better then Badiashile, Disasi, Khusanov, Yoro, Fofana (I like him but he’s a lot of money and always injured), ? All more money and wages. Spurs also spent more on Dragusin and Danso.

They must have some under 23 filter on FM or something.

I think there’s a real dearth of quality CBs at the moment. We’re asking more of them than ever, and some qualities are taking priority over actual defending.
We'd have signed him instead of Agbadou too. After the manager he's the biggest reason our season has turned

Haven’t seen a player get anywhere near bullying or giving him any sort of physical challenge, really. But he’s not all about that - he’s calm in possession and good with the ball at his feet. He also knows when the no nonsense approach is required and just gets rid when it’s needed.

I think he’s excellent. Very excited about seeing him, Yerson & Toti as a back three next season. There aren’t going to be many sides looking forward to coming up against those three.

His passing out from the back was much better yesterday. Kept it calmer and didn't hit the ball quite as hard at people. He had a very good game.

He tries quite difficult passes at times, quite progressive, it's refreshing, hopefully that leads to more goals for than against.

I think Danso would have improved our defence compared to where we were, but Agba looks a much better player. He'll be another fan favourite.

Was it his pass to JSL that set up the Sarabia goal? Great control from JSL, but the pass to him showed great vision .

It's quite amazing he's got to this stage of his career virtually unknown, is he a late developer?

You look at the team there is the makings of a really good spine: Agbadou, Andre/Joao, JSL. Get the pieces around them right and that could be a top 8 team. I won't repeat how much I rate Andre, I got laughed at in his 'Welcome to' thread. He's 23, and already looks like DM that could play for any team in the world.
