Official by Valencia:

"Valencia CF and Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club have reached an agreement this Monday, August 8, for the transfer of Gonçalo Guedes to the English club.

Guedes arrived at Valencia CF in 2017 from Paris Saint Germain and has played 198 games in all competitions, in which he has scored 40 goals and provided 32 assists. His first match as a Valencianista was played on September 9, 2017 against Atlético de Madrid and in 2019 he was one of the players who lifted the Copa del Rey in Seville.

The Club thanks him for his professionalism as a Valencia CF player and wishes him the best of luck in this new stage of his career."

Valencia folks on twitter seem unhappy about it, which is probably a good sign.

30 million euros apparently.

No coincidence that its come out at the same time as the Coady news.

yes a big welcome. hope he has a great time and scores for fun!

Seems a bit daft it's been announced by Valencia and still nothing from Wolves. I know they probably want to make it flashy but it sort of loses its impact if it was announced the day before.

On Guedes, never impressed me when I've seen him play but hopefully I have just caught him on off days and he's as good as some of the comments I've seen from Valencia fans.

Wolves have announced

5 year deal, no.17 shirt

Welcome, I may live in Spain, but I never watch La Liga, due to work and the restrictions on broadcasting La Liga so cant say I have ever seen him so hopefully he will be good

Great player, good signing. Hopefully he turns out to be exactly what we need.
I guess you have seen a fair bit of him in Portugal.

Watched the obligatory You Tube, predominantly right footed but well able to use his left.
Seems to be a wide player than through the middle.

That's about as much as I know about J, any other info?

Welcome Guedes, let's hope you bring some sparkle back to our attacking line up, God knows we've been missing it.

Have all 6 of your IPTV boxes packed up? :D

would they not have just sold him for €39m if that were the case?

Selling him for €40m+ would still have netted them over €30m too. Doesn't make any sense to me.
