I have seen so many stunning goals from waggy, hibbitt and more over the years, but this is a piece de resistance and I have just seen it and fortunately.... Have a cypro to hand on the beach at Pefki with a good football loving pal from Germany. Ain't life fucking grand eh?

Simon Osborne's free kick in that game was pretty Neves-esque as well.

Yep and Corica's effort was from a similar spot to Neves last night

Rae at Bolton and Kennedy at Stockport were the two best Wolves goals I've seen live until last night.

I actually said 'don't shoot from there' just as he controlled it too...

From the North Bank...

Interestingly he said in his interview that he had no choice but shoot because if he’d lost the ball Derby would have been away. Interesting how his brain works in that split moment.

Anyone know why he always points to his head when he scores?

Reference to Pirlo according to his tweet this morning.

You could see he’d made his mind up before the ball got there, his right foot was already up waiting for the flick. His football brain is the quickest I’ve ever seen.

Kennedy's at Stockport and Dennison's at Wembley in the FA Centenary Tournament were fantastic but Neves' goal pips both of them for me. I just hope he stays for a year!

Best I've ever seen. The way he has to readjust his body before hitting it makes it fabulous.

Neves said "I think therefore I play" in reference to Pirlo.

I just keep watching replays. It's an absolute worldie.

In fact, I am still buzzing about it now. It's all that the blokes at work who went could talk about all day.

Wife has just asked if there's something wrong with me, as I've spent about half the day watching it on YouTube.

We have scored some superb goals this year & then Neves goes and does that!!!!

There are still 4 games to go - what else can they produce??

If everything is wrapped up on Sunday the final 3 games could be interesting as they can play with a hell of a lot of freedom and have some fun (if Nuno lets them of course)
