Gonna be a lot of emotions in here, I bet. Gird your loins.

Well that was fucking embarrasing.
A blind man could see the problems was down our right side within 10 minutes....to carry on playing the same way until that far into the match was stupidity.

We all need to meet into the middle now and stay behind the team especially at Molineux. Pessimistic and optimistic. Nervy and calm head. And just hope the boys dig in over the remaining games

Really, though, what the fuck was Danny doing in the build up to their third? No effort at all.

Well that was $#@!ing embarrasing.

Our problems were all over the pitch.

Bennett back in. Maybe Saiss as well - although I don't think we need the extra protection in midfield for the next two. Alf is just way too inconsistent though.

I like Leo and have been a supporter of his for a long while...I still think he fits our style of play better than Afobe. I wouldn't be surprised to see the change made though.

When Boly's making basic errors in possession and Cav can't trap a bag of cement you know it's a bad day.

People were panicing after the Fulham game, we then went to Leeds and played them off the park. There's nothing to suggest that won't happen again. It's done, write it off, focus on 6/6 from the next two. Or cry hysterically and spend the next few days hyperventilating, I suspect I know which way some will go...

I doubt we'll see Danny Batth play another minute for Wolves and rightly so.

We were fine first half attacking but abysmal 2nd half. Doherty MOtM for me. Some of the pant wetting is fucking embarrassing, we're still top with a 7 point lead over Villa in 3rd.

Had to go out with a few minutes to go - though promotion is still on with enough points from teams that will not be able to challenge us

Not a great night, but sobering & should wake the team up to the fact that they are not as domineering as they may have thought they were

Bloody awful.

Danny Batth just can’t help play our way, and Leo looks half the player he was at the start of the season. Both of them should be dropped, we have far better options.

The ref was diabolical - wasn’t a free kick for their second and the non penalty is ridiculous. Beyond incompetent. No one in his line of vision, arms away from his body, even frank couldn’t have defended that ref.

We still have to play seven of the bottom 8 so will still go up, probably as champions, but nuno needs to get a grip on these players and get them performing.

Disgraceful performance.
Useless, jota was poor bonatini was useless, batth was as bad as the ref who was bordering on cheating you cannot be that inept without there being something dodgy going on.
2 of the most stonewall penalties you will ever see a scissor tackle round the waist and that hand ball FFS it was not even difficult

We were slow to the ball and other than Cav and Neves didn't close down well at all. Bonatini was just poor, Douglas is just not very good and we all knew what Danny was like.

We have a major issue up front, what made us so good at scoring at the start of the season - quick interplay between the front 3 has gone, as has Bonatini. Since xmas we have been FAR too reliant on set piece goals. Not really sure what we can do to solve this. We looked like a team with no fucking clue in that second half. Costa looked ok when he came on.

I think the tone was set by Batth's terrible defending - and not just for their first goal. He shouldn't have played, let alone stayed on beyond half time.

Up front, Jota's touch was poor and Bonatini was as ineffective as he was against Fulham.

The free-kick for Chester's goal wasn't a foul by Neves and the handball was as clear a penalty as you'll ever see (I don't agree that Adomah challenge on Doherty was a penalty).

That aside, we just weren't at the races in the second half and didn't deserve anything from the game.

Let’s try and be a bit rational about this. I still think we will win the league, but no way on Earth are we going to beat Reading’s record and no way are we as good as some of our players think we are. For me, Nuno must take much of the blame for that performance: Batth was a disaster waiting to happen at Leeds (watch again how his buggering about leads to the free kick in the first minute) and no way should he have started. And like everyone on here said, he should have been subbed at half time. Club captain or not, he has no further part to play this season. Bonatini? Why did he not shoot in the first minute? Maybe not the heart of a pea but Grabban was everything he wasn’t, and Grabban is no world beater. Nuno has made a lot of mistakes recently and he, as much as the team, needs to sort himself out.
As for 6/6 from the next two games, yes, obviously. But that will only paper over the cracks which will be exploited in the Premier League. Christ, even our goal difference advantage is evaporating.

So wrapping both legs round your opponenta waist whilst missing the ball is not a foul?

I just hope you dont ref

Terrible performance.

Never got near Villa's intensity, they're not a great side and didn't really cause massive problems from open play but they just wanted it so much more than Wolves and it showed. Not unlike the Fulham game to an extent, who I didn't think played particularly well that day, but they made the most of what they had going for them, caused problems on set pieces and went for the jugular when presented with opportunity.

Think one additional issue on top of the Fulham game was the manager, Wolves struggled all game long to get any sort of control or involve the forward players with any consistency and he didn't pretty much nothing to address the issue. Villa seemed to have numerical advantage in key areas and with Wolves struggling to dominate play or match the intensity that caused big problems, nothing was done to rectify the balance of numbers in those areas. Bringing Saiss to play on that right side was just weird.

As with Fulham it's the nature of the performance as much as anything that concerns, where was the heart from the players when things started to slide? Surprisingly Costa was the only who seemed to rally late on, the others either dropped their heads or just completely lost them. Ball is still in Wolves' court to decide the fate of the season but not as comfortably as it was just a few weeks ago. Really need to buck their ideas up sharpish as a few more of those embarrassments along side continued good form in the chasing back can really pile on the pressure.

What ever good Doherty did in the first half should be struck off the record with that abysmal defending for the fourth. Doherty you abomination.

Would've been a different game if either or both penalties were given, but we seem to have few answers when we fall behind.

I didn't get leaving Saiss out - if it's to protect against missing two games by sitting out two games, then what's the point? You might as well have the ban. N'Diaye offered much less.

Danny Batth could've easily been taken off after the yellow card - bring in any of Bennett/Miranda/Hause(switching Boly's side) for the next game.

Jota was disappointing, Cav was probably our best player so he must've been run into the ground to be taken off.

And whilst Afobe isn't the answer, he offers more threat so it's either him or a fluid 3 with Costa for the rest on the season please - Bonatini's movement didn't offer enough.

Wouldn't be totally adverse to dropping Ruddy either, but he should be able to handle the run in.

Small things added up today. We weren't awful, but far from good enough on the day. I wouldn't panic yet as we won't play many teams like Villa, but shows there is still massive room for improvement when we do go up - which we will.

Stop being so one-eyed. If it was us defending and given as a pen against us, you'd be doing the same unintelligible reactionary act that you always do.

It was a quasi-bodycheck that may get a free kick somewhere else on the pitch, but it was never going to be given as a penalty. Doherty was looking for the penalty, it was clumsy by Adomah, but it wasn't a pen.

Go and get some fresh air and see if you can learn how to write with a modicum of coherence.

I think it's fairly safe to assume if we go up we will never field this 11 in the Prem
