Got to give him a chance first mate. The people have voted. They have voted overwhelmingly Republican. Its as bigger kick in the arse as Brexit was for Cameron and Corbyn or the election was for Miliband. This was just destined to happen. I've woken up to two bat$#@! crazy election results in the last 18 months, I don't think I'll be making it a hat trick in the morning. Whereas with our GE and the referendum the early results and exit polls looked horrific straight away, everything that's coming in so far points to a much more comfortable Clinton victory than anticipated. So the world hasn't quite gone completely bananas yet, just most of the way there.

You could not be more wrong. His comments re Putin have been encouraging the whole campaign as have those from Putin about Trump. Putin has a "strained" relationship with Clinton. As regards Brexit it should be good news all around for Brexit as the dollar will be a bit weaker and we should negotiate a decent deal with the US. Who knows time will tell. Its democracy in action.
Lets face it the world is showing its true colours. It is a little m ore selfish and a little less unrealistic as a result. We have a long journey ahead to achieve the ideals that we want as a human race with regard to true harmony amongst peoples.

Like Brexit, this is the inevitable result of a political and economic system that leaves too many people behind. You show someone who's hit rock bottom a big red button marked CHANGE and they're going to push it.

As with Brexit and the NHS, Trump voters won't care about no wall being built or any of the other "policies" because that's not why they voted the way they did. Trump is the change candidate and for people who feel they have been cheated by the current system, it doesn't really matter what sort of change.
