But they will not be punishing Victor Gevers, who was acting "ethically".

Seemed a serious conversation was had in the White House recently with Mike Flynn amongst others where Trump proposed martial law be implemented in the swing states when they would re run the elections there.
Seems a couple of the White House chief advisors had to seriously argue against it.

Doesn't help him though as a pardon (I think) only deals with Federal offences & not state ones which is where investigations in New York are likely.
