Traore the enigma

I agree. Its who we should go for as back up. See the summer thread. I like Zahore. I think there could be a real gem there.

Zahore at times looks a real handful as he showed by comprehensively beating Boly down the right hand side half way through the first half. But there are huge question marks about his appetite for the game and the quality of his final ball.

Adama played his best 45 for a while, at right wing-back. That's not what we paid our record fee for. Had we done so, as a replacement for Matt Doherty when teams line up a certain way, people would have quite rightly been up in arms. He looked like he was enjoying himself when he moved up top, but in a two, his shooting isn't good enough and neither is his supply. He's just incredibly frustrating, as is the fact we still do not know where the best place to play our record signing is

Until he moves off the ball, he'll never fulfill his potential whatever his position.

We are going to be aiming a lot higher than Zahore. Good Lord.

You see that is what we thought about Bennett and he's been great. Most of us would have binned off a pre Nuno Coady too. I don't think we will be chucking 30 million plus at many more than Raul and the squad needs a couple of effective back ups. I probably am not explaining my thinking too well! I think that zahore to Raul is better than bonatini to Raul.

We are not bargain basement shoppers I agree but neither are we 75 m striker buyers yet . this year was stand, next year is walk. We have been exceptionally lucky with injury this season. That may change and I want a depth to minimise the impact.

Does any of you think we will be spending more than 30 m on one player in the summer? If so I would love to know who and why. But on the summer thread of course!

Jimenez

He will be over £30m

I fully expect us to do that at least twice and probably three times in the summer.

We have phenomenally rich owners. We are top half.

We are looking at putting capacity up near 50k.

Stop thinking small.

He is unique. But then so am I, it's not always a good thing.

"It's one of the things he can do," Nuno said in his Friday press conference. "Adama is unique worldwide. He always has space to give things to the team.

"His speed, his one-versus-one, there are not many players that can achieve these kind of performances.“

Seems pretty good to me

Well we all have a doppelganger as far as looks are concerned, but the character is always different

My son's texted me a couple of years back having seen me on some TV quiz show - wasn't me, but when I looked at the screenshot pics they sent then he could have easily used my passport

All managers have a blinspot for a particular player. Just means they've got bad judgement on one player. Even the very best do that.

Wow, you’ve properly fixed your view haven’t you! Good job It’s Nuno’s view that matters...

Is this the same Nuno you were all bitching about on the shambolic Huddersfield match thread?

I think the word I'm looking for is fickle.

Is it fickle to have an open mind?

Thought Traore played very well first half on Saturday and brought a different dimension to his game and our performance.

He was alright.

Up front though, Christ. His shooting is unreal and not in a good way. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if he never scored for us ever again.
