Tottenham 1 Wolves 3: The verdict

All of my Spurs supporting mates had this as an easy 3 points and have been talking in almost disrespectful terms about the ease in which it would be accomplished, given how we have performed against the sides they consider to be rivals. This is more satisfying than Kenny's 1-0 against United, than taking points of Pep's City and even squeaking a trophy off Forest on the hallowed turf.

Second half we overpowered and outplayed a club who's fans thought they were genuine title contenders. We showed more passion and desire than a club who once said

"It is better to fail aiming high than to succeed aiming low. And we of Spurs have set our sights very high, so high in fact that even failure will have in it an echo of glory."

There was only one side aiming high, and only one side who failed. And did so with not even a whimper, let alone an echo of glory.

Not a single positive comment about us on that Spurs forum. Fucking jokers.

I’m absolutely delighted. Gonna get pissed now. WHAT A RESULT.

That's the worst thing about reading all of that. Even when I've read Wolves meltdowns, there's been grudging acceptance that we were outplayed, and the opposition deserved the points.

Those clowns are the definition of wimmabigclub

Fuck you cunts. This is for Garth Crooks when I was nine. This is for ALAN FUCKING MULLERY THREE WEEKS BEFORE I WAS BORN. As a foetus I hated you, and now I am giggling. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Stop

My sides hurt

Poccettino went to Wembley expecting a big win,
Nuno Esperanto smiled, and said without a blink.
You aspire for silver, but my dressing room's full of Gold.
And when they wear a shirt for me, they're something to behold.
So it passed the World Cup stars, in all their pomp and prime,
Huffed and puffed in lillywhite, but not until full time.
Willy, Raul and Helder scored the goals, but 14 played
For Manager, for Club and Fans and the journey they had made.
And when the final whistle blew, to howling from The Yids.
Nuno stood, saluting all, but most, his wife and kids.

Was out all day so could only follow via Twitter notifications but, bloody hell, what a comeback, what a performance and what a result!

Who gives a fuck if we have been poor against the likes of Huddersfield and Cardiff. We don't have to worry about being relegated so fuck them. Games like today and the Chelsea match are what it is all about.

It's been an absolutely magnificent 2018 as a Wolves fan and what a superb way to end the year. Thank you Nuno and thank you Wolves.

So how many passes did they string together in the minute or two before Boly equalised? Anyone managed to count?

78% of our goals have come in the second half & a fair number of those in the last 10 minutes (or even later)

Shows that we are not beaten till the whistle goes

in the second half, we dominated Spurs mentally. We put doubt in their minds and once we equalised, there was only going to be one winner. There was a time when we would have drawn level and tried to protect that, but as Nuno has said "I would have said a draw was a good result, but I cannot control the emotions of the boys if they see space in front of them.” Spurs folded, we didn't, That's what separated the teams today.

Watching this back on Sky, our fans have made me proud throughout this game. So vocal even when we were behind.

oh how far we have come
I remember us waxing lyrical about the number of passes leading to Milijas' goal at home to Man City when we beat them 2-1!

And cheers for the heads up Dino, just been watching the second half again. I never realised whilst watching live just how loud our fans were. Someone mentioned it on the Spurs forum that we were the loudest that has been to Wembley this season so far. Terrific support from the 3000 there.

At times, we sounded like the home crowd.

Last season I sat in one of the QPR stands when they beat us.

All the QPR fans around us were saying how intimidated they felt by our away fans standing and never stopping singing.

It's not just this away match. It's every away match.

We are always the loudest, we always put the home fans to shame,
