Ticket Prices 2021-22

Think I'm sacking my ST off and therefore asking for a refund from last season

With how things are going, I'm expecting a no
Their first move will be to put the owed money in your Wolves cash. You might have to call em fuckers a few times before they do a proper refund.

Wolves have now scrapped the £20 membership scheme.

Good, have just added the membership plus thing to my membership.

The last year of any type of home loyalty scheme though i'm sure, and the beginning of the end for the away loyalty scheme too.

The lesson here for Wolves is do not presume because some are not happy then all are unhappy.

Unfortunately when we have a home fan capacity of 28-29k and a lot more currently want in, then you are going to get a few pissed off. That only changes we we expand or go back to being uber shit.

Edit - and stop trying to fleece every last fookin penny out of people.

As I've just said on Twitter, the thing that annoys me more than anything (other than the perpetual "we'll charge what we want and you'll pay it" mindset, which is shocking) is that we knew months ago that 2020/21 was going to be a virtual no-go in terms of attendance. Certainly by Christmas, it was obvious.

So if you really want new ticketing strategies, you have all that time to come up with them. Six months or more. Could even go down a proper open consultation route if you wanted to, you don't have to listen to every idea of course. But no, we come up with stuff that looks like it's been cooked up over a pub lunch and we've gone "aye, that'll do".

It smacks of amateurism.

It is clear they have gone "we get a lot of emails/letters/angry tweets from fans who can't get in for games, thousands of fans must be unhappy with this, better change it"

Then came up an idea that kind of included the loyal members but at the same time managed to annoy them. End result, all those who spoke with the club to kickstart this change are now in a tiny minority.

Said it the other day, making a change after a big call is of course the right way but one they could have dug their heals in over, so fair play for responding and quickly but whoever put this idea forward for approval needs a slapping.

That select few moaners before this idea weren’t moaning about general ticket availability. They were moaning that they stood little chance of getting a ticket for the Sky Six games because they couldn’t be arsed going to the lesser games to build loyalty. Well tough fucking shit.

For all we know they came up with the idea last season but wanted to wait until the last minute to mininize any discontent. Obviously they didn't anticipate the level.

If they didn't anticipate how members would react they clearly don't read Twitter that much.
If a "plastic" gets a ticket ahead of a fan that went to Chorley then the place explodes in a mass uber rage.

Just renewed and I had £7 in Wolves cash (thought that would have been wiped) so that covered the admin fee. Taking that as a win as essentially Wolves have paid for that, kind of (if I ignore I had to buy shit from Wolves to get it)

Sorry if I’ve missed anything, but what’s the situation with tickets for this season? I’m not a season ticket holder and managed to go for a few years. Is it still based on points etc or how does it work now?

hoping to get to a few this year, however imagine as I have no points etc it’s likely to not happen

They've auto-renewed me. Er, guys, I didn't tell you to do that, the deadline is Friday not today, and if I do renew (still not decided) then I don't want to pay by DD as before. So now I need to waste my own time sorting this out. Smashing.

Doing a great job of annoying me this summer.

Well, it kind of kicked off last week when Wolves essentially scrapped loyalty points for home games and made it a free for all if you were a Member. Backed out of that inside a week. So going to be the same really as last season. Not a great amount of tickets for general sale but if you managed before, you should be ok going forward. Probably easier once the rush to return to watching live football has calmed down

Going to presume something on the DD form from 2 years back had an auto renew section ticked by someone when added to the system.

Just checked my email and they're saying the same for me too. I was very my much in the not renew camp. They can definitely fuck right off now.

Logged into my account and it's definitely been renewed despite the Friday deadline.

It does auto-renew unless you say otherwise (I don't have a problem with that) but not three days before the deadline.

From my understanding, those who had high loyalty points last time around will be guaranteed tickets for 6 games, but the other 13 they will be in a free for all along with the rest of the members who don't/didn't?

Presume nothing in the releases about ST's reminding folk of the auto renew? It's been a while since they were taken out so they should have said something.

Would also guess the date for auto renewing is done 3 days before the deadline, so any issues in confirming bank account can be resolved before the 30th. At least this one is a computer rather than a presumption from Wolves.
