Things that make you SAD thread.

Lucky to still have Grandparents but my Grandad passed away yesterday at 92. Fellow Wolves fan but on the other side of the family to where I picked my interest up from. Didn't know him all that well but funnily had been thinking about him a lot recently, and the only game I ever watched with him was the Charlton game where we both saw THAT Ebanks-Blake goal in a pub in Enniskillen - odd coincidence it was this week 18 years ago it happened. Thinking of him right now, and I wished I knew him better. And as he is Irish, celebrating his life with a Guinness of course.

Settled down to eat some Pringles last night and as I was chewing bit on something like a small stone, fished it out and was the back of my tooth. When I woke up this morning Mrs Lupo asked how my tooth was, as I went to answer her there was something else in my mouth, a filling, hopefully from said tooth. Call to dentist first thing tomorrow

Was it a molar?
Same thing happened to one of my molars while eating a baguette.
Heard a loud crack, the wife was on the other side of the kitchen and thought a fuse had gone or something had sparked.
The back half of my last molar had come away, I didnt even know it was cracked.
Luckily I managed to see the dentist that day and it only required a deep filling.
Hope you get sorted as easily.

Yes mate, doesn't seem to be much left apart from the outer side so am thinking it may be extracted but you never know. I am going to dentist at 11.20 in the morning to see what they say

Well I'm back. As I suspected there is just a thin outer shell of tooth remaining and quite a bit of filling remains despite a fairly sizeable filling having come out on Sunday morning. There is no infection. I have to go back on 30th April to have what is left of filling removed and be sized up for a reconstruct/crown then back again on 7th May for a fitting so in the meantime will have to eat on the other side. £332.10 cost
