Things that make you SAD thread.

Bloody hell! Shocking news, Ray

I'll start by saying I love living in Britain, specifically my home town. Despite its many issues and problems imo Britain is still a great place to live, work and bring up a family, but.....scenes I've seen from last night online and as we drove through Newport sicken and sadden me. People so drunk they were actually falling down, puking everywhere and pissing in the street, and of course scrapping all over the high street, this isn't a deprived inner city, its sleepy, middleclass Newport. I know its a mindless minority and most people had an enjoyable and sensible evening but it still depresses me that people want to behave like this

They were told to 'Super Saturday'. PM wanted to see places "bustling"

Bustling is good, folk having a good time is good, rank scumbag behaviour isn't

I think that's naive quite frankly

Maybe, I know I can be naive at times, I was expecting some of this behaviour but the sheer quantity surprised me. Maybe more people should be shocked by it and less just shrug and accept its 'to be expected'

That's one interpretation. The other is people can't be trusted. The day lockdown was announced people flooded to the pubs for one last hurrah

Never seen Glee but I know the youngest daughter used to watch it but that woman drowning whilst out swimming with her son is so sad !

Found a dead body on the way to work this morning. Young lad who had committed suicide. Cut him down and tried CPR but he was stone cold. Poor kid, couldn't have been older than 19/20.

That's grim to find someone like that.

Shit man, I only came on here to say I'd burnt the chocolate brownies I was making.

Look after yourself and see someone if you need to.

Fucking hell Sam. Hope you're OK, buddy.

Fucking hell Lycan what a shock, you tried your best to save him
