This is it it’s ultimately Fosun fault for allowing this situation to exist. However Lop playing out a public soap opera and leaving everyone in limbo has been a shit show, deciding enough is enough on the eve of a season is even worse.

I think this is the problem, and his possible replacement isn’t filling us all with confidence. Lop does have excellent pedigree in comparison but he his behaviour doesn’t look good for future suitors.

Like with predictions of our upcoming season from the outside people won't look that deep at it really, they'll see he has managed, Spain, Real Madrid, Sevilla, kept us up when we started out bottom on 10 points and then see that he was misled going into this season. I agree by the way that he's not handled himself very well in all this but he's still going to have plenty of suitors, don't see that being a problem for him at all.

Not sure I agree on never been arsed, but he clearly doesn’t want to be here now and it’s the same as any player for me: there’s the door if you want to walk through it.

Really Lage arrived after a good half season at the best funded and biggest club in Portugal followed by a dreadful start to the next.
O’Neill kept up a very poor side and inherited a side just battered 9-0. He’s by no means a great choice but certainly no worse than the Bruno Saunders appointment
