It’s a shame as their reporting is not bad these days. Website works well via pihole but I suspect that might be a technical step too far.

Much easier for Portuguese speakers to understand Spanish than the other way round.

When spoken, the two languages don't sound anything like each other, though a lot of the etymology carries over when it's written down and there are some grammatical similarities.
