I know he's old but it's really a seismic event for the sport here.

I just imagined the space he’ll have if he plays against Charlotte while Lattanzio is still in charge.

What’s the record for most goals ever scored by a single player in a single match? It will need rewriting.

The Central Coast Mariners can announce that A-League Championship winning defender Nectarios Triantis has signed with English club Sunderland AFC for an undisclosed fee.

Lop's mate Monchi has told Sevilla he wants to leave

Main rumour is he is going to Villa

Liverpool sign Alexis Mac Allister from Brighton.

Sky Sports News understands the initial fee for Mac Allister is £35m although some sources suggest the fee could rise to £55m.

Lionel Messi confirms he will join Inter Miami this summer.

Will he be able to do his magic on a cold Wednesday night in Colorado though, that’s the big question

I find the Messi saga every summer really tedious. Every year it was whether he would sign a new deal at Barca (we knew he would) then they got rid as they had to, then he didn't really want to be at PSG so would he return to Barca, this year the will he stay at PSG/go to Saudi/ no he's gone to Miam.i Suppose next summer it will be a return to Barca on the cards! I follow Fab Rom on Twitter as you do but these past few days he's been firing out so much Messi content

Who would have thought one of the greatest players on the planet would attract so much media interest over what he will do next and where he would move to.
Yeah sorry for expressing my opinion

Somewhere in the middle I think, I try to steer clear of those kind of arguments

More worried about him doing it on 100F+ evenings in Miami tbh.

Reds also interested in Manu Kone and Kephram Thuram as 2 more midfield options.

A complete revamp for them and not a Nunes or Neves in sight.

I would say Nunes is going to be with us next season.

The English argument is that he will have no problem with that because having lived on Mainland Europe for so many years he has never experienced cold weather or rain and lived out his life in a constant heatwave.

Remember Lop rocking up in November and Jeff making an embarrassed joke about our grey, miserable weather and Lop told him it was actually pissing down when he left Madrid!

Never bought into that one to be honest.

1) I know we do weird things but fronting up ~£40m to effectively have a player on loan for a year?
2) Why wouldn't Liverpool just buy him straight away if they wanted him
3) Even if you take a very charitable view of what he is (not easy given 70-80% of his performances for us) he doesn't look like a Klopp midfielder at all

Was all Darren Fletcher (the fat beardy BT one, not the smackhead looking ex-Man Utd one) going all in on some duff info and of course our fans believe it, like they did with Ballbag last month.

Blues away, December 2017. The moron Sky co-comms (I'm going to say it was Birtles as I hate him) musing about whether our Portuguese players would cope. It was colder in Lisbon than Birmingham that night.
