LVG and RVP love each other, can't see him leaving. Probably shows the 3-5-2 isn't being done away with any time soon unless Rooney is moving into midfield or out wide

Wouldn't even expect that to be awesome going forwards to be honest, two strikers who offer little else other than finishing for the most part, Mata and Rooney both playing where they're not particularly effective, think you'd just end up with 2 forwards standing doing nothing while the 3 behind all try and occupy the same space for 90% of the time. Then you look at the 5 behind that and you wonder if the ball is even going to make it beyond the half way line anyway.

It's like United are determined to prove they're not on the decline and are desperately throwing money at any recognisable name who's willing to go, there doesn't seem to be any clue of how they're going to fit together on the pitch at all, they've signed 3 left sided defensive players alone this summer, it's looking really desperate.
