I would love a Steelers bobble hat - the hairs thinning so any assistance is welcome (though I'm still happy that I have more hair than my brother who is 5 yrs younger)

Officially starting a new job January 3rd! been waiting for months (it's a government job so there was a lot of red tape) but it's a relief for it to finally be confirmed!

Daughter in law continues to improve & has been allowed out of bed. Still troubled by a loss of feeling in her legs (though she has been confined to bed for 3 weeks which, in itself, hasn't helped), but is able to start some physio to rehabilitate physical function. Unfortunately it looks as if she will still be in hospital at Christmas, but I have managed to rearrange my plans so that I will be near enough to visit her over the Christmas break.

Daughter in law now moved from the specialist unit to a hospital only a mile or so from her home & told that she will, hopefully, be allowed out to go home for a few hours on Christmas Day.

More relieved than happy as the outcome of this could have been so so so much worse
