That's interesting! I went on holiday with my Mum & Dad when I was about 10 and we stayed on a campsite near Morethoe. It was full on thistles and was on a bit of a slope So everyone ended up scrunched up at the lower end of the tent. I had to walk throught the long grass and thistles to get a big container of water. Hated it, but did go trainspotting at Mortehoe & Woolacombe station (Got a
on a train once to Barnstaple).

Small world. Yes, that fits the description. We went up market in the caravans though... LOL. Spent many a happy day down on the 'rocky' beach below the Naracott hotel. Nobody went on the rockier more attractive beach below Mortehoe as that was where the sewage outlet pipe ended. Ilfracombe harbour was a real hotspot for visitors at the time, especially when the fishing boats came in. Ridiculously long journey to get there in those days!

Spring is coming. :)

Get this shit week out of the way and it should feel quite toasty albeit wet.
Just seen that, get today and tomorrow done and then Friday starts to look a bit less cold.

And by Friday we'll have an extra 5 minutes of daylight! #everylittlehelps

passed the swear like an Aussie practical rest with flying colours then.

Congratulations, pleased for you.

After 4 weeks with no central heating the heat pump got fixed yesterday so getting out of bed wasn’t so horrific today. Obviously just in time for the cold snap to end, but definitely happy nonetheless.

Happy and apprehensive... I've just been elected as the North East representative on the RMT National H&S Advisory Board which meets quarterly in London. Brushing up on my H&S stuff as we speak!

Got an introductory Teams meeting on Friday morning and have to attend the annual H&S conference in York on 20th and 21st February.

Just thank whatever diety you weren't put up for an attendance board.
