The Things You Are HAPPY About Thread.

Finished for Christmas at 2pm and got right into the spirit of the season by doing some ironing and fixing a drawer. Might clean the car tomorrow. I'm very excited...

Our company did a global cookbook this year, and my recipe for cottage pie was successful in representing Ireland!

Nice one.

Good to know I wouldn't be eaten in your house.

Congratulations Paddy.

Where’s his Wolves bib or baby grow?

I will work on that...

when my eldest was born I draped the poor sod in a Wolves scarf at a minute old. In an operating theatre after a c section. Pulled it out of my surgical greens. I was unpopular.

I bought a small amount of Bitcoin a year or so ago, just to try it. Have logged on and checked the value today, first time in ages. Blimey. Should have bought a shit load more.

Missus has got the crimbo shopping done (no panic buying yet in our Aldi) but best of all I got the Christmas booze shopping done, might not be able to see much of my family or have broccoli but at least I can get pissed

Got everything sorted besides veg, which I'll get tomorrow...I just can't face queuing up for anything today, I'm far too cozy.

Meat and various other products coming from local farms (all supplied by the brilliantly named service - Deliver-Moo)
We have already preodered some food from Morrisons
So just a few small bits to pick up.

Easy and I don't even have to leave the house

Email from Morrisons coming soon saying they're now out of stock...

if you're expecting deliver-moo today, they running late, got a van down

I can survive if they do but they won't.

Great to see the media taking this "we have enough stock for Christmas but we will face issues in the coming weeks if the border stays closed beyond Tuesday" and reporting "SUPERMARKETS CONFIRM FOOD WILL RUN OUT" Presume they have missed reporting on empty shelves and videos of Pablo fighting over the last packet of Pigs in Blankets.

Not today for me. Wednesday or Thursday depending on their work load. They don't live far from me so my drop off is being fit around their manic schedule
