The Things You Are HAPPY About Thread.

Discovering @ThatCanFuckOff. Langers I saw this and thought of you.

Barca are 2-0 down I am happy with that. Gotta love a giant killing

All the money that was lifted from my account by some unscrupulous bastard 12 days ago has now been placed back in my account.
Kind of impressed...

Happy that I can have Jelly Tots for breakfast .

Repaired my football boots after an unfortunate incident in last Sunday's game, caused this to happen...

...now after a bit stictching, gluing and buying random things off ebay that i'll never use again i've ended up with this...

Pretty happy with my work, feels sturdy enough but going to have to wait until next Sunday to put them to the test as i'm going to Derby tomorrow night and staying over, hopefully it'll work out alright and i can stuff my cobbler friends words down his throat after he claimed they were beyond repair. I'm going to miss stupid/pointless endeavours like this when i'm working full time and hopefully wont be sitting around the house bored out of my mind so often.

Off to India for a week next month. For work, but looks like there will be plenty of time to see a bit of the area. It coincides with the Calcutta test match too, so even though I'm on the other side of the country I hope I'll be able to get a taste of some Indian cricket hysteria.

Those boots Mark.... They're cheap shit**, so why didn't you buy another pair?
I'm surprised they don't all tear..

** Plastic eyelets with no metal roundy thing.

They're not cheap, i got them for about £70 and that's almost half price on their RRP. Hardly any football boots come with any inserts in the lace eyelets these days, the leather is generally strong enough to take the straight but when me and this other guy were running full pelt at each other and his studs got caught in my laces in the aftermath of our challenge it was just too much.

It's never happened to me before and i dont expect it to do so again, just got to hope my repair is strong enough to now withstand the normal strain from having the laces pulled tight.

If it pulls apart then Mark, try putting a couple or 3 metal staples in and squeezing them shut with pliers. Cost you about 4 minutes and 1p.

Im happy that Im off to Belfast in the morning with my mate, we're off to see Orbital playing at the 25 years of Dance music event up there. To add to the happiness, they have announced an aftershow party where you can pay in and Orbital will be Dj-ing until 3am.

Handed my notice in today, I expect unrivalled celebrations amongst management types upon hearing the news.
