I was contacted on LinkedIn about a Training Manager role with a global financial institution this week. Definitely a role I can do and have experience in, but am concerned that this is potentially not a good time to move jobs considering there's a huge recession around the corner and we are also close to being approved for a mortgage, so I need to be in a permanent role and not on probation.

I said to my wife I might join Clontarf CC as its literally just down the road and has one of the best pitches in the country.
The 300 euro annual membership is slightly off putting though

Got the call from work asking if I can come back in from Monday. Told them I would be delighted but obviously the wrist is an issue. MD says give it a week to heal a bit more and then we will revisit next Friday. I guess SSP next week rather than furlough.

Would be the sensible thing to do. Furlough you for a further 3 weeks and hope its healed for a return then
