The Things You Are HAPPY About Thread.

Getting away with talking about Christmas on the other thread, and it's only Nov 14th.....and I didn't start it for a change.
 
Starting chemo on me step dad ( they weren't going to ) Won't cure but may give him a bit longer with me mom. Breaks my heart to see them, but it's given them a bit of a lift and that's all we can hope for.
 
Job offer today with a large charity here in the Midlands, with an salary I negotiated up :) had 5 interviews in the last 8 days so kind of glad to be able to put applications to one side now.

Funnily enough, I also secured an interview with Birmingham City FC a couple of weeks ago but withdrew - but not for the reasons you might guess at!
 
Bit bored here by myself on a Friday night, so just bought tickets to see Sporting Lisbon vs Olympiacos in the Champions League! It will be my first CL game ever!

Cheers LJ. Actually I think I would have seriously been banned as I would've been responsible for all their community PR and making them look good...haha.

Was a bit bored myself in Germany, until i found that their version of 'Love Island' was in the nude :)

Cheers. For me they slightly mis-sold the role tbh. At first it was advertised as creating those community links, then pre-interview it was clear actually it was more about PR of minor community links which compared to what Wolves are doing, isn't particularly much. However, it was interesting and pleasing to be shortlisted. I got shortlisted for Blackburn once too, just before the Venky's came in and sacked a load of staff...another dodged bullet! The new job looks promising, all agreed and in due course I'll share who they are as most of you will know the charity.
 
Just had a phone call from a company at work trying to flog us some cleaning products. The guy on the phone started chatting about football (he was a Palace fan) and knew all about how good Jota & Neves are. He also reckons he can send me a free Wolves shirt out along with the brochure he's posted. He's either full of shit or I've got a free shirt on it's way to me!
 
It's full of shit, don't do it !!!

I get a lot of free stuff offered and always refuse, I was once sent a sample of a traffic film remover along with a bill for £300 for the 'sample'
