The things that I really, really like thread...

The feeling you get in ya tummy on the days that England are playing. :)

Or maybe its just down to a touch of wind. :(

Branston pickle mixed in scrambled egg on toast :licklips:

Homemade Ginger & Shortcake ice cream.

Now that sounds nice.

I've made a big pot of chilli for my tea tonight.

Tonight I'm making Mrs HW Triple The Cheese Spring Onion Mash with Beanburgers followed by an After Eight Chocolate Pudding and a few glasses of Red Wine and a couple of cocktails.

That Triple The Cheese Spring Onion Mash sounds lovely, but whats a beanburger, baked beans, kidney beans, runner beans or what ?

Tonight I'm sending Mr Penguin off to Costa Rica with an Angus steak, and a few homemade chips in his tummy( and no pudding ) as he'll be living on beans n rice for the next 10 days !!

Awesome. Love a fiery chilli, me. The missus is a pansy though so it's never hot enough for me.

I've tried to create my own chicken kebab meat by marinating left over roast chicken with harissa, tomato and chilli chutney, yoghurt, chopped green chilli and papikra. I have high hopes.....

Sounds very tasty Machin.

Chilli is one of my favourite things. I also never get to have it as hot as I like but as I don't cook it I can't complain! When my wife's cooking it I try to telepathically tell her 'more chilli powder, more chilli powder...'

Those of you that like their chilli hotter than their partners, why not just make a batch, seperate it in to two pans, and add as much chilli powder and spices as you want to the one lot.

I'll get to have my own chilli now anyway. My wife is pregnant and nearly everything makes her feel nauseous so I'm taking over the cooking for me and our daughter. I'll try not to burn the kitchen down...

Do you like cooking ? More men seem to enjoy it these days than what they used to. Even Mr Penguin will now boil the odd egg :)

I do quite like it. I'm not any good at it though! I do the typical male thing where I manage to use 17 more cooking untensils than I actually need.

I don't mind cooking but it's all far too time consuming and a hassle.

I just can't be arsed with it! The most complex thing I cook is chilli or spag bol.
