Fantastic win for Evans - goes on to face Tsonga next.

Murray faces Zverev for a place in the last 8, gets a bit trickier after that with Fed/Berdych/Nishikori in Q-F, before probable meeting with Wawrinka in semis.

Bottom half the draw is very open, Raonic should be confident of getting through to the final. Great chance for Thiem to make it through to a Slam semi with his draw.

Evans and Murray both through.

Tremendous win over Tomic for Evans

Back in 2012, Bernard Tomic's father and coach John told Evans that he was not good enough to practise with his son at the Miami Masters.

Evans will be up to world number 45 on Monday. Were he to beat Tsonga he could get to number 37.

Tomic is number 32.

Given the way Aussie sporting people are lauded for their gutsy attitude, Tomic and Kyrgios are putting in some pretty lame performances.

It is attitude with that pair as well, they're both more than good enough to be troubling the top 10, but they don't want to know.

Pushed too early? Get no enjoyment from the game? Tomic has the close attention of his father, which some can find overbearing, although it hasn't done Murray any harm.

Kyrgios is just a bellend and I'd say is unsaveable at present, I always get the impression that Tomic needs a firm boot up the arse.

Kyrgios is an idiot, plain and simple.

He will completely waste his talent. Wouldn't be surprised to see him retire from tennis at some ridiculously early age

Much respect to Dan Evans.
Bet his (former) sponsor is regretting the decision to drop him last year.

Jo Konta cruises past Wozniaki and into the 4th round 6-3 6-1

The transformation in her game over the last 12-18 months has been remarkable

Zverev v Nadal was an epic - Zverev certainly looks like a future slam winner.

She should beat Makarova to make the quarters. Then she would almost certainly be facing Serena. Then we will know a bit more about how far she has progressed.

Cibulkova has lost, Radwanska went out in the third round , Halep in the second, and Madison Keys missed the tournament with injury so there is a good chance to close the gap on those above her, even with giving back all the ranking points she got for making the semi final last year.

Murray in all kinds of trouble - 2 sets to 1 down, and a break - just looks impotent, and Zverev just seems to have a game that doesn't suit Murray.

Murray and Evans both out so we are down to Jo Konta left. Will be interesting to see how far she can go.

I imagine she'll be quite fired up to win her first slam on home soil.

If she was born in Sheffield rather than Sydney she'd be the poster girl of British sport. It's up to the individual to decide whether they accept her as being British or not, but she is treated differently in the press because of it.
