The Summer 2025 Transfer Window Thread

I think Jota has been generally very good for Liverpool when he’s been fit, he’s their best attacker for the central role. Though he’s been rubbish every time I’ve seen him since his latest injury - feel like he had a couple of patches with us where he looked awful for a period of time and then would knock in a hat trick and be on his way again.

Maybe I’m being revisionist, memory is a tricky bastard, but I don’t recall Jota ever being one to make a consistent influence in open play. His game has always been about taking advantage of moments, IMO. Of course, when he and Raúl were both in form, they could create those moments themselves/for each other.

Even if we were prepared to pay Jota's wages I'm not sure I'd bring him back .
We're all in on Brazilian players it seems , and who would blame us...J Gomes , Cunha and Andre....not a bad trio at all .

Seems a fair guess, although if Yerson comes back without any lingering issues, he’s also played as a high-sitting LCB, albeit at a lower level.

Toti is still quite young, isn’t he? 25ish?

This. I fucking loved Diogo, probably my favourite ever Wolves player. We have no business being linked with him.

I loved him but he's not in my top 5 Fosun era players

Moutinho
Neves
Raul
Boly
Cunha

Might have Jonny ahead of him too

Nothing wrong with abit of forward planning as long as it doesn’t come at the expense of the here and now (says it quietly)

Can’t see Agba being here in 2 years time, for example if he carries on as he is

He's 28 at the start of next season
