Now there has been a new twist in the Hammers’ pursuit of Kilman.
According to
The Sun’s Jack Rosser, Wolves have made a new demand of West Ham in the ongoing transfer saga.
Kilman may well join the Hammers in the end but whether he’ll do so for a reasonable fee remains to be seen.
Rosser has suggested that Wolves are putting pressure on the Hammers to make an improved bid for the 27-year-old this week.
The Hammers are said to be preparing a new offer, and
Kilman himself is keen to move to the London Stadium this summer.
Max Kilman would take West Ham to another level defensively, and he’d be the ideal candidate to take over from Kurt Zouma as the new captain as well, what with his fantastic leadership skills.
Last season’s record of 74 Premier League goals conceded quite simply wasn’t good enough, and the Wolves man would undoubtedly help the Hammers improve upon that.
Whether West Ham and Wolves can agree on a fee for the former Maidenhead man remains to be seen though.
