The Mirror say today that Afobe isn't coming as Nuno doesn't think he's got enough goals in him.
I agree, but so does DouglasWe don't need Doherty competition. We need to upgrade him.

"[Lambert]'s had an extremely difficult job," said Butland. "He inherited a squad where, unfortunately, there was ill-discipline and players you can not rely on.
"I think the whole recruitment process needs looking at to be honest. We've gone into a game [on Saturday]-- and over the last few months -- with half the squad dotted around the world not even involved.
"There's been transfers who aren't even part of the squad for all kinds of reasons, whether it be discipline, whether it be lack of performance. So you've got to look at that -- what decisions are being made and the type of characters.
"Too many of the recent investments have been completely unused and that's unacceptable, so for any one who has signed or any changes happen that's got to be looked at because it's been farcical really."
I'd sign Leo just because otherwise I'd worry about the amount of players coming in and the difficulty that can cause. I'd also sign N'Diaye for the same reason.

If you want be rid of Batth, Miranda, and Leo, fine. I think Douglas and Doherty (even him) have earned the chance to at least show they are or aren't Prem quality.
Also, quotes from Jack Butland that make me want even less to do with that deal:
Pointing too many fingers, Jacko.
He's absolutely right. But the press is the last place to make it known. But he’s right. Stoke’s recruitment has been $#@!ing appalling.

I think if any Wolves player has said that to the press about Johnson or O’Hollywood we wouldn’t have had an issue with it. Butland won’t be there next year so the ramifications will be minimal and he really does have a point. I don’t see anything wrong with it.

Mark Cartwright is Stoke's Technical Director of football and in charge of all recruitment. I'm amazed jokers like him and Thelwell manage careeers at football clubs. The Peter principle in action.

Stoke boss Paul Lambert says if Wolves bid £35m for England goalkeeper Jack Butland, 25, it would only be enough to buy one of his gloves. (Birmingham Mail)
I also think he values those principles as well (i.e. strong characters, club ethos, commitment etc) and would look for a club who match that
