The Second Club Thread

Bloody 102nd minute equaliser, then a penalty loss! Shit @Alan that's harsh man!
Orlando are an enormously cunty squad, too. I wanna punch Facundo Torres so hard his frosted tips fall off.

As y’all might say, it was the “fair” result. But brutal anyway especially because the penalty we gave away 1) was just unbelievably stupid and unnecessary, and 2) was saved initially but right back to Torres for the putt.

First league win of the season for GAK as well as Wolves yesterday!

A 1-0 defeat to Bayern, we're not getting blown away which is something.

Bochum got an unexpected point against Leverkusen but are still winless and marooned at the bottom, while Kiel lost at Bremen. Could do with Hoffenheim losing at Augsburg this afternoon while Heidenheim play Wolfsburg, so they can't both pull away today.

0-0 for Hoffenheim so not too much damage done and keeps Augsburg in the conversation.

0-1 is definitely an improvement on the last time you played Bayern at the Millerntor in the Bundesliga 😉

Horribly out of our depth that season, never had a prayer.

That was a pretty tasty Bayern team.

New dawn at Swansea as the previous owners Levien and Kaplan have been bought out. Not sure how much Swansea have been bought at but in the Prem it was £100m. Since then the owners stripped the team for parts, got them relegated, made the club operate on a shoestring of small buys, loanees and youth players, mostly relying on good coaches to keep the team afloat. They're not about to become world-beaters but the investment from a new owner should move Swansea away from the slow decline into League One.

I've said before but if you want to look at how Fosun run us now, I think Levien and Kaplan at Swansea are their model. Once they realised promotion was a pipedream they set about milking the team of what they could in the Championship rather than trying to return to the top-flight.
