The Rugby Thread

Should be much further clear in reality.

A bit surprised England have played so many Sarries in this March, suppose there wasn’t much else they could do but it really shows.

Scotland deserve this England have been a rabble

Not good from England, but good to see Scotland win the World Cup after all these years.

No one's really going to count this years Six Nations are they..?

Fabulous finish by Johnny May. Tip toed along the line before leaping like a salmon to score in the corner.

Curious what people thought of the sending off? On first viewing I thought it was but watching back maybe a yellow was correct. Exciting game though!

You could argue for red or yellow, but the risk was greater than the reward in either case.

I have limited knowledge about rugby but are there many differences to american football? I've seen a lot of people compare the two but if there are some problems when it comes to the sport and its differences I hope that there is no things like that lol. I hope that there are people who are looking forward to what happens because I have caught some games from rugby and they are doing well. However, I hope that more people will be friendlier when it comes to this kind of thing because there are aspects of the sport that is very hard to understand lmao

The only real similarity is the shape of the ball and the goalposts. Normally the comparisons are based on NFL players being soft for wearing pads and helmets from people who don't watch it.

Its probably most similar to Rugby League, but as TT says not that close. Its not entirely different though as the principles of stopping the ball being advanced are more alike than say american football vs normal football.

go and talk to your team, but while you’re doing that I’ll let Wales score a try.
