The Rugby Thread

Wales looked very poor today. England managed to make a game look closer than it was. Scotland gave the All Blacks one hell of a scare. France v Australia is an absolute cracker.

When it comes to the high pressure games one hemisphere looks between five and ten points better than the other.

When the All Blacks did the Haka yesterday the commentator mentioned they were doing a different version of it. How many versions are there? I thought there was just one Haka.

I think there are several depending on what the situation is, mostly the differences are specific words for their opponents, I think.

Another solid run out for Ireland today, albeit against a poor Georgia side, but Schmidt rested 50% of our starting line up and the stand in guys really shone.
Bring on the Aussies...

This is a sensational game of rugby. Wales lead 13-10 with 25 to go.

15-13 New Zealand heading into the last fifteen. This is a brilliant game. Wales have to finally convert one of these excellent performances against the giants into a win. Gallant defeat is no longer good enough.

Penalty denied for holding on. Forward pass. Try New Zealand. Fuck off.

And another NZ try. Scoreline suddenly looks rather one-sided. Bugger.

16-34

and Wales were ahead at seventy minutes. Gah. So frustrating.

Wales No 12 motm. ... on what planet? Lolz

He was excellent but that is silly. New Zealand number 10 would have been my MOTM

Wales beat South Africa 12-6

I didn't see it, so I don't know, but you don't have to have tries everywhere for a gripping game of rugby.

Wasps will play their first game at the Ricoh this weekend. I wonder what the attendance will be.
