The Rugby Thread

Cracking game and nice to see two sides willing to throw the ball around.

On another note, I watched the rugby league last night and was surprised how small the crowd was. The game was enjoyable, plenty of tactical stuff as well as the customary big hits.

Giod comeback by Italy but you'd expect Wales class to tell in the end

We deserve to win. We certainly don't deserve to run over them in the last minutes and get a bonus point. This is on Gatland for a piss-take selection.

Made it a good game to watch, but none of the 10 really stood out and it came across a bit disrespectful.

I am always surprised by how poorly attended womens sport is, like the womens 6 nations, i think the highest ever attendance was 15k for England Ireland at Twickenham, it was free to get in !

Wales weren't great but 2 away wins is a good start, they'll play much better as the championship goes on

We will have a very different selection and mindset for the England game for sure, but I wanted the bonus point and indeed points difference in the bag early. This all smacks of Gatland managing the side to try and go out with a grand slam, and there is a huge risk of it going bang in his face.

Poor mental attitude if that’s the case.

It would be VERY Gatland. Wants to go out with a massive bang with a Grand Slam and maybe a world cup final. This was a lax selection and we got away with it. Just.

Didn't see the game but this should have been an opportunity for the fringe players to make a real case that they should be first choice. If they didn't do that against Italy (who are shite and arguably not as good as Georgia these days) then that's on them really. Same as say, Gibbs-White and Costa against Shrewsbury.

Plus points were Biggar, and Davies was lively at scrum half. Beard had a good game as well at lock. And obviously Navidi was decent.

Liam Williams was ace, but he is first fifteen anyway.

It was lacklustre crap really. Most disappointing.

Looking forward to this, hopefully a very good contest. Kids are out and and I'm sat in the conservatory with a beer too :)

England must be so damn disappointed with their slow starts to games.

Tremendous. Fair play to you guys.

Going to win this by thirty plus I reckon.
